Dubai Land Department organises ‘Real Estate Run’ to bolster community sports culture to promote the emirate’s real estate initiatives

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13 November 2023: In line with Dubai Fitness Challenge 2023, Dubai Land Department organised a ‘Real Estate Run’ at Dubai Hills Park, spanning 5 kilometres. The event drew more than 100 individuals from real estate companies and DLD’s staff.

This sports event, conducted with the support of Emaar, seeks to nurture a culture of sports, encouraging participation from diverse segments of society; showcase real estate projects and developments across different areas in Dubai and reinforce the importance of physical well-being, contributing to the growth of an outstanding sports community.

Dubai Hills Park was selected as the venue for this event, given its status as a renowned real estate landmark and a prestigious, world-class residential community.

The Dubai Hills project offers an array of property options, including villas, townhouses, apartments, and residential plots, all within a luxurious, high-end residential area. It is renowned as one of Dubai’s premier golf communities, boasting an 18-hole championship golf course, the Dubai Hills Golf Club. This vibrant area provides a host of exceptional amenities, including three hotels, two hospitals, a 54-kilometre cycling track, two metro lines, and a sprawling shopping mall, with a vast expanse of 1.4 million square metres dedicated to parks and green spaces.

Covering an expansive 11 million square metres, Dubai Hills is planned to accommodate more than 100,000 residents across 30 residential complexes comprising over 2,000 villas and numerous luxury apartments.

The Real Estate Run underscores Dubai Land Department’s keenness to actively engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives and its commitment to supporting endeavours that would contribute to maintaining quality of life in the emirate.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge is a remarkable celebration of physical fitness, activity, and vitality that has inspired over 2.2 million individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles since its inception in 2017. It is taking place until 26 November, providing every Dubai resident with opportunities to engage in various sports activities held throughout the city.
